Contest Canada.com Newsletter Giveaway!

Starting on 12:00:00 a.m. EST 1st  day of each month to 11:59:59 p.m. EST last day of each month of 2010 (the Contest Closing Date), Contest Canada will be running a Newsletter Contest

Eligibility:

All Canadians nation-wide who participate in “Monthly” at www.contestcanada.com and who are of the age of majority at the time of entry will be eligible for the Contest. For the Bonus Prize you must be a Contest Canada yearly member in good paying status at the end of that month Limit of one entry per subscriber to the Contest Canada newsletter. In the event it is discovered that you attempted to enter more than once all your entries will be void

How to enter:

There is only 1 entry per person. You do not have to be a member of Contest Canada but must sign up for The Contest Canada monthly newsletter. Your entry will be carried on from month to month unless you decide to unsubscribe to the newsletter

Participate by signing up for our Email Newsletter found on our homepage under Mailing list. Each person who signs up will be automatically entered into the contest.  

No purchase necessary.

Prizes:

A. Grand Prize: There is One (1) Monthly Prize available to be won consisting of a free yearly Contest Canada.com membership valued at $25.00.

B.

The Prize will be delivered to the confirmed winners by email.

The prize described above must be accepted as awarded.

Draw

On the 1st day of every month Contest Canada will computer randomly pick a winner. All eligible entries will be entered into the contest.

Winners names will be posted on the Contest Canada Site and in the forums section

Prize Claim

The selected entrants will be contacted by phone or email by the Contest Organizers within 1 working days of the random draw.

The selected entrant must correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question that may be administered through email or phone

Prize will be delivered within 1 week

ODDS OF WINNING:

Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.

General Rules

This contest is open to all Canadian residents of the age of majority in their province (or territory) of residence at the time of entry, excluding employees, agents and representatives of Contest Canada, their advertising and promotional agencies, the independent contest administrator, the independent judging organization, their affiliated companies (which, individually and collectively are hereinafter referred to as the “Contest Sponsor”) and members of the respective immediate families of employees of Contest Sponsor and anyone with whom such employees are domiciled.

No purchase necessary.

Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, incomplete, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way.

This contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial, and Municipal laws and regulations. All decisions of the independent contest judging organization are final and the Contest Sponsor shall not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the contest.

No communication will be entered into except with selected entrants. By entering this contest, the selected entrants consent to the use of their name, city of residence, audio/video image, statements, and/or photograph in any related publicity without compensation.

The Grand Prize or Secondary prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No substitutions will be made for the prizes except at the discretion of Contest Canada which may substitute prizes of greater or comparable value. The Grand Prize or Secondary Prizes are expected to be delivered to the winners by mail about 1 week after confirmation. In the event of a dispute regarding submission of an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account. By accepting the prize, the prize winner agrees to sign a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest rules and regulations and releasing the Contest Sponsor of all liability that could result from the awarding or use of the prize.

For Quebec residents, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, 1 rue Notre-Dame est, 9e étage, Montréal, QC, H2Y 1B6, for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties to reach a settlement.

All Entries become the property of Contest Canada upon receipt and will not be returned. Contest Canada will use the contact information provided in contest entries for administration of this contest only.

Contest Canada reserves the right to withdraw, terminate or modify all or part of this contest by publishing a notice on the Contest Canada website if for any reasons the contest is not capable of running as planned, including technical failure or corruption, computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other cause beyond the control of Contest Canada, which in the opinion of Contest Canada affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this contest.

Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, damaged, destroyed or misdirected entries or for any faulty electronic data transmission, equipment failure or other communication problems occurring in connection with participation with this contest.

Without limiting the release in the paragraphs above, and for greater certainty, the Contest Sponsor will not be liable for: a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Contest Website users or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries in the contest; b) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation of the contest website or any transmission in connection with the contest; c) any communications line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; d) any problems with, or technical malfunction of, any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or failure of e-mail which may occur for any reason whatsoever, including technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof; or e) any injury or damage to participants’ or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this contest. If the contest is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Contest Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security or proper conduct of this contest, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to, without advance notice, terminate or suspend the contest, in whole or in part, or modify it in any way, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux in respect of residents of Quebec.
